Sound Investing

One of the most expensive MP3 players in the market meeta one of the expensive MP3 player cases.

STYLISH MUSIC fans on the go can enjoy their tunes while being fashion forward with Louis Vuitton's new, elegant for the one of the most priceless models in the market, the Bang & Olufsen MP# music player, BeoSound2. The BeoSound 2 retails for US$890, is compatible with PC and Mac MP3 and WMA formats, and uses exchangeable MMC or SD cards.

The BeoSound 2 case covers up the sleek music player in Louis Vuitton's signature caramel nomade leather, following the rounded curves of the model while leaving the various buttons exposed for easy use. It is lined with suede, and with it's small strap can be attached to a belt, on the arm or even hung from the wrist. The metallic finishing in aluminum, the embrossed LV logo, and the small yellow topstitching display the Louis Vuitton signature on the natural cowhide leather.

The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus

The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus is one of my favorite band ever. They are five poor country boys from florida that gave up everything to share their music with people.I really like their songs because they are writing straight forward rock songs about topics that are REAL and you can relate to. There's no hidden meaning. They want us to understand and they want to share it with us. RJA is a family and they want us to be a part of it. My favorite tracks from their album are Face Down, Your Guardian Angel, Disconnected, Damn Regret, Justify, Getting By and Cat and Mouse but all their songs are great and I almost memorize all their songs...hahahaha!!!They are really the BEST!!!hope they will visit the Philippines because they have a lot of fans here waiting for them to rock on and here them playing the everybody's favorite "Your Guardian Angel". If you want to listen to their songs just click here. And if you want to visit their website just click here.

Bill O' Reilly's Who's Looking Out for You

BILL O' REILLY would have you think that he's looking out for you. In his book, he rails against just about any individual or entity who he thinks doesn't. Which is well and good, especially for those who can't get enough of his no-holds-barred enunciation of conservative views; he makes his points with clarity and, more often than not, with good old-fashioned logic and common sense. And as faithful followers of his popular Fox News Channel -- and readers of his other best-selling hardbacks The O' Reilly Factor: The Good, The Bad And The Completely Ridiculous In American Life and The No-spin Zone: Confrontations With The Powerful And Famous In America -- know only too well, he is adept at making his vitriol acceptable to the faceless mases who form the core market of Who's Looking Out For You?
There's just one problem, though; we're not really O'Reilly's target audience. From the opening page to the acknowledgments, the book is, quite unabashedly, a self-hep treatise on how the average American can cope with the changing, post-9/11 times, including how he can look out for himself and identity who else is looking out for him. for readers on this side of the globe, it's comforting to note that O'Reilly gets more personal in Who's Looking Out For You?.

Real Into Phony

Perhaps the graphic depiction of violence and irreverent material in the media and entertainment industry has caused inurement in the minds of youth. Perhaps the technological era we live in has made life so simple that people can be completely egotistic. I have failed to pinpoint an accurate antagonist, but something has caused society to lose some of its grip on reality. Something is making people care less.
It seems that morality and integrity in society become more questionable every day. Maybe my cynical attitude comes with age and, therefore, knowledge. Maybe everything has always been this bad and I just didn't noticed. People don't care about things. A person selfishly sees himself as some ideal persona who does nothing productive but, through some form of magic, is better than everyone else. They find pleasure in mind-altering substances that offer simulated happiness and supremacy. I refer to these callous individuals as "fake". Real people care about the feelings of others. Real people speak the truth. They respect authority and obligations impulsively. They fall in love and it's real.
It is disturbingly probable that I sound like a utopian writer who understands nothing of the real world. I merely choose to see those people who try to mold reality into something selfish as less than real. The brainless masses that are too selfish to respect (and occasionally feel sympathy for) their fellow human beings are fake. They will never offer nor receive love, as do real people, yet real people suffer. Real people do not commit crimes. Violence is a result of the selfish idiocy demonstrated by fake folks. I wish there is something that I could do to change the world, but the phony people desire the continuity of their dreamlike lifestyles too fervently to listen. They have too much enjoyment to care about anything real.

Separate Ways

I never thought one day,
That to my friends, I would be away,
A friendship we are just starting
To let it enhance, were trying.

We've been together
Through sorrows and laughter,
Moments we've all fears, together we dared.

My smiles were vanishing
And tears of mine are falling
What was that for?

The oneness, ended up divided,
The unity, perhaps also ended
However, I'm hoping with sincerity
That we'll soon be brought
by our faith and loyalty.

I believe we'll be friends until tomorrow.
I know we're all just starting to grow
But still, these trials - together we will face
Through we already go our
Separate Ways.

Online Games

Online games are said to be "hit" than real sports. Its a sad story that we young people faces. Our youth and reckless mind has little by little corrupted by modernity. The problem is, computer games can destroy peace of mind, health and it maybe the reason why the gamer have taken its responsibilities for granted.

You are familiar with Freestyle, and Pangya, right? These are online games derived from basketball and golf, respectively. How about Ragnarok and RF online? These are level-up online games that extends towards war and killing. But, what will the players gain upon them? Eye deffection, passive action towards responsibilities and the worse, some get sick like ulcer and pneumonia. How did they win these illness? Based on my experience, I myself has acquired them, because I am also playing online game at the cold computer shop. (That's the price of the hard-headed people.) Sometimes, players forget their meal time.

Once an addict gamer will start to play, no one can stop him, unless he choose to stop. But after that game, he will still look for it. Some players stays at the shop for 24 hours, and at least 10-12 hours. Well, a lot of time wasted!

Have you ever heard the real story about a young man who played online for straight 3 days and 3 nights that causes his death! See, how he lost his future, his dreams and his life? He abuse his self just to have the nonsense game in exchange of his precious life.

The said that engaging in online game will develop your confidence. I doubt, It's the pride and the vain glory of the gamer.

The lesson here is, if you want to have fun and leisure, why don't you just play the real game! Sports will help in building-up your mind, strength, flexibility, endurance, agility and relationship with your team mates and opponents. Perhaps, there is nothing wrong with sports.

In Disguise

It is your unique kind that
made me fall
Your different mood that
excites me most
it is your cocky style that
makes me laugh
though you shed tears, for me
you always seems tough

yes, you are sometimes rude
and you hurt me with that
but you are trying to prove to
me that you are not like that
you are also selfish and so not
seem to care
but when the time
you love me
it seems that you also learn
to share

baby, it is okey, i believe
in you
everything will be okey,
because you have just
been true
do not worry because
i trust you
have no doubt baby,
i love you

they say you are a bad guy
they say that you are not
worth it for the love i gave
they say that you are good
in lying
but i do not believe them
because i know
who you are and
what you show

Substance Abuse

Drug abuse is the use of any chemical substance, which results in an individual's physical, mental, emotional, or social impairment. These include anxiety, depression, paranoia, psychosis, respiratory tract infections, nose and mouth ulcerations and other systemic diseases. Eating Disorders

Abnormal and unhealthy eating behaviors can develop from obsessive attitudes about food or body image. Some turn to food for comfort and end up consuming unhealthy amounts of food in ashort period of time - BINGE EATING. Others in search of the "perfect body" starve themselves or limit calories to an absurdly low level - ANOREXIA, or they practice forced vomiting after eating and take diuretics or laxatives like candy - BULIMIA. People struggling with anorexia and bulimia also often become addicted to exercise.

So what are the sick factors of eating disorders? Here are just a few:

-Binge Eating - obesity, heart disease, liver and kidney problems, certain types of cancer, energy loss
-Anorexia - dry brittle bones, hair and nails, digestive problems, fainting, stunted growth, kidney failure
-Bulimia - inflammation of the esophagus due to frequent vomiting, dehydration, tooth and gum problems, heart problems that can lead to death

What to do if you suspect someone has an eating disorder:

- Look for a private place to talk.
- Communicate your concerns by stating specific examples of times you felt concerned by your friend's eating habits.
- Encourage your friend to talk with a school counselor, doctor, or nutritionist. Even offer to go with them for the first visit if they would like.
- Avoid conflict or offense by using statements like "I'm concerned about you because..."

- Express your continued support - no matter what you will still be their friend.

Curious???

I had a friend named Melissa. Not that long ago she was excited about life. So many choices! She wasn't a kid anymore, but still there was plenty of time left.

After all, It was her life and she would choose what was right or wrong for her. She would experiment. Get new friends. Do things she was curious about, but had never tried before.

And so she did. It was fun and even more exciting than she had imagined. Even the "cover ups" in front of her family and her old friends provided a thrill.

Then one night she went to a party where she did things she couldn't quite remember. Everything was a blur and out of control. The last thing she recalled was holding on to a wall and sinking into a corner.

The next morming Melissa found herself on a strange mattress, her rumpled clothes saturated with the smell of beer and smoke from last night's party. Her head hurt and she felt so powerless, alone and lost.

It wasn't supposed to be like this and it definitely wasn't fun anymore. But it had been her choice. She had no one to blame.

Pornography & Sexual Addiction

"I look at pornography as an addiction. You keep craving something that is harder and harder... until you reach a point where pornography only goes so far. You reach that jumping-off point where you begin to wonder if actually doing it will give you that which is beyond just reading about it or look at it."

"Pornography is the gateway drug of most sexual addiction... Like any other addiction sex addiction is progressive. There is a built in dynamic that always drives the addict to the next level and the next."

"Sex that is void of intimacy (such as pornography & casual sex) works as addictively as any pill or injection. Sex provides a quick mood change. It is a reliable escape. It masks the pain. Eventually the sex addict becomes powerless over it. The addict goes out of control as the compulsion take control. Even harmful consequences cannot deter the sex addict's compulsion to repeat the act and find temporary relief. "

Fatigue

Maybe you think you have too much living to do, so you're adding hours to your day by cutting out on sleep. But does it really work? Here's what a habit of short nights will get you(less than 6 hours):

-Difficulty waking up in the morning
-Inability to concentrate and impaired memory
-Falling asleep in class
-Moodiness, irritability, depression, or anxiety

Establishing a consistent sleep routine is one of the best ways to improve your mental, physical, and emotional health.

You probably already know what caffeine (a stimulant) can do to keep you from getting the rest you need, but what about the affects of nicotine? Both of these substances prevent you from being able to fall asleep, the kind of sleep that fuels and repairs your body for the next day.

Happy Birthday!!!

It was my birthday yesterday and today is the birthday of my sister marianne. Happy Birthday yan...wishing you good health & more b-days to come, hope you will never change. Mwah mwah Tsup tsup...=)

10 Ways to Look and Feel Your Best:

10. Take care of your appearance.
(You're the only one who can!)
9. Wear a smile.

8. Get out of your chair and exercise!

7. Never build yourself up by putting others down. It doesn't work.

6. Be yourself. No need to fake it.

5. Carry yourself well. You were handmade by God.

4. Look beyond you and celebrate the accomplishments of others.

3. Cut back on the sugar and drink plenty of water!

2. Get some sleep. Short nights can result in unproductive days and weaken your immune system.
1. Get to know the One who created you.

What stress you out?

-Studies
-Negative thoughts and feelings
-Broken relationships
-Problems at home
-Changing schools
-Chronic illness
-Lack of money
-Traumatic memories

Just one of the above is enough to cause stress, but you may find that you're having to deal with more than one of them at a time. When this happens stress can turn into depression. Sometimes the progression is so gradual we don't even realize it. What are some signs of depression?

-Sadness that won't go away
-Irritability over even small things
-Feelings of hopelessness
-Lack of enthusiasm or motivation
-Anger, rage, anxiety
-Sudden decline in grades
-Thoughts of death or suicide

You are not alone. Feelings of depression are far too common. Reach out and talk to friends, parents, or teachers whom you trust. Avoid hanging out with those who use drugs and alcohol to cope with difficult situations. Above all, do not do anything that can cause permanent damage or death. Remember- "suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem."

I'm Not Emo

My friends say that I'm Emo because I usually listen to Emo music, they always say that I'm Emo because all the play list in my iPod are in one genre which is Emo, they always say that i'm emo because i have one sided bangs. I really insist that I'm not Emo but they always calling me that and I hate it.!!!

I usually listen to Emo music because I just like the rhythm of the song and when I listen to Emo music it relaxes my mind and body and I just don't know why. And about my one sided bangs, It's just a fashion. It started to cut my hair like this when I was 1st year in college because at that time Tsinovela and Koreanovela are very popular and I'm always watching their show. I noticed that the hair of their actors and actresses has a very unique hairdo and I like it, that's why until now my hair is like this.

And to those people who always calling me Emo, please please please...stop calling me that, it's really annoying!!!

The word "Emo"

Do you know what Emo word means????Emo is just a short word for emotional.Emo is a style of rock music which describes several independent variations of music with common stylistic roots. As a result, the term "emo" became a vaguely defined identifier rather than a specific genre of music.Nowadays Emo genre is more popular than any other genre like alternative, pop, rnb or indie. Most of the teenagers today are now into that kind of music, listening different kinds of bands and others play it and sing it out loud. If your emotional, heartbroken, depress, sensitive, inroverted or angsty I'm sure you can relate to thier music because of the lyrics in it.

Emo is also oftenly associated with a certain fashion. The term "emo" is sometimes stereotyped with tight jeans on males and females alike, long fringe (bangs) brushed to one side of the face or over one or both eyes, dyed black, straight hair, tight t-shirts, studded belts, belt buckles, canvas sneakers or skate shoes or other black shoes. There are a lot of them in our school most of them have bands.

This is my Horoscope for the Day
